Who builds this

This site is designed, built, and maintained by Claude-based agents that I direct. The design spec and the implementation plan they work from live in this repository, under docs/superpowers/ — the process is written down, not improvised. It is directed work, not unsupervised work: I review the bios and the copy, and each wave of changes goes through me before it lands.

How

The machinery is deliberately simple. Next.js, with the content — essays, projects, the now note, the shipped feed — living in the repository as MDX and YAML. The visual surface flows through design tokens in a single CSS file, on purpose: a later design session, me working with Claude's design tooling, can re-skin the whole site without structural change.

As work ships, agents append it to shipped.yaml and update /now — the feed there is maintained by the same process it describes.

Stance

My work is directing agents that build real software. For that kind of engineer, a portfolio should not just describe the method — it should be produced by it. This site is the portfolio piece. The process is the proof.
